Branding – Bloom & Bold is a beauty and cosmetics range that celebrates women over 40 years of age. These women are often misrepresented and overlooked as consumers, being made to feel older than they actually are with typical anti-aging products.
As a designer, I wanted to address this issue by creating an awareness campaign, as well as designing the branding and packaging for my own unique beauty range. I came up with the brand name Bloom & Bold, which features a range of skincare and makeup items. The packaging has bold colours and patterns to make it stand out on the shelves in an already overcrowded market. My campaign showcases real stories from a diverse group of women who are part of our target audience. They share their bold moments, which inspire them to continue to bloom.
